Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

We currently have an exciting vacancy for a Mitigation Coordinator to join our team which will be based at our Foxbridge Logistics Centre in Normanton, Wakefield.

 

We are looking for an experienced Coordinator to join our function who wants to learn new skills and help improve our function and business processes.

Where you fit in:

 

  • As Mitigation Coordinator you will be responsible for managing the Mitigation Hire desk that supports our Operational colleagues across Waste Water Service Delivery with a variety of temporary pumping and aeration solutions.
  • This includes planning and coordinating both reactive and proactive requests via phone/ email.
  • You will take ownership of all enquiries through to completion either by fulfilling with internal YW hire equipment or hiring equipment externally through our contract partners.
  • Arranging site visits when required.
  • Work closely with various teams and ensure effective communication to make sure we get it right first time.
  • Responsible for getting quotations and mitigation solutions approved by site mangers before deployment.
  • Effectively liaising with site operators and contractors to book in installation and decommissioning dates.
  • Organising transport to deploy and collect equipment when off hired.
  • Responsible for updating and managing a range of different weekly and monthly reports for performance and spend.
  • Validating internal and external finances.
  • Arranging services, repairs & breakdowns for all internal & external mitigation hire equipment.
  • Responsible for raising and receipting purchase orders in Ariba.
  • Managing and maintaining stock levels of internal YW hire equipment.
  • Monitoring and chasing internal and external live hires and provide updates on resolutions and expected off hire dates.
  • Responsible for updating SAP when mitigation is in place.
  • There will also be times where additional cover is required for other Coordinator functions within various services provided by Foxbridge Logistics Centre.

 

What skills & qualifications you will need:

 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build up effective working relationships with a range of people, as your role will involve day to day liaison with a wide range of internal teams and external contractors.
  • Within a fast-paced environment, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a team and under your own initiative.
  • Excellent organisation skills, with a good eye for detail and can manage and reprioritise your own workload.
  • You will have a strong background within administration and be able to demonstrate a can-do attitude.
  • Experience of managing customers and resolving issues.
  • Experience of SAP is preferable but not essential
  • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft office packages. 

 

You will also benefit from having: 

 

  • Previous coordinating or planning experience is preferable but not essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar environment or within the broader utilities industry sectors would be beneficial.
