We have an exciting opportunity for a Capital Change Portfolio Coordinator to join the Asset Delivery Programme Management Office at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

The Asset Delivery Programme Management Office are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.  

 

Yorkshire Water are currently recruiting for a Change Portfolio Coordinator for a 12-month period, to deliver administration, co-ordination and support activities across the Continuous Improvement, Digital and Curriculum and Development teams.

 

  • Coordination of required actions, meetings and follow ups for CI, Digital and Curriculum and Development activities
  • Update, review, and allocation of work through the coordination of the Capital Programme Continuous Improvement Dashboard
  • Support the team with administrative tasks associated with improvements to end to end process, training and development 
  • Provide general administrative support for the Team.
  • Produce and manage communications, dashboards and Sharepoint sites
  • Monitoring of team in-boxes and assigning actions
  • Leading on small projects as required

 

Where you fit in:

 

As our Capital Change Portfolio Coordinator, you will;

 

  • Administer the Continuous Improvement dashboard which includes managing the new ideas log, working with stakeholders to investigate the ideas, and feeding back to the individuals that have submitted ideas. 
  • Provide timely reports using Microsoft Apps and Power BI
  • Support projects teams to deliver change projects adopting the Continuous Improvement governance process.
  • Work with other PMO teams to manage the Integrated Management System (IMS) and administer the Asset Delivery Way (CDIMS), the Asset Delivery Learning & Delivery Hub site and our PMO Sharepoint site.
  • Own the team and wider PMO SharePoints site and keep it up to date with relevant communications.
  • Coordinate and support documenting processes and producing business process diagrams.
  • Support on documenting Procedures and Guidance.
  • Deliver small Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Support the team to deliver change impact assessments.
  • Support the team to own a calendar of training and events.
  • Support in the production and planning of training material and events.

 

What skills & qualifications you will need:

 

  • Experience of project and programme administration and co-ordination 
  • Experience of using Microsoft Apps and Power BI
  • Experience of using SharePoint and Visio
  • Experience of developing and maintaining effective internal and external relationships.
  • Good organisational skills be proactive and be able to work successfully in a team.
  • Report writing and presentation skills
  • Analytical and reporting skills
  • Working with colleagues inside & outside the team, to support the day-to-day delivery of team, department, and directorate objectives.
  • A flexible and agile approach to the completion of tasks, working beyond team boundaries as and when necessary.
  • Strong communication skills and be able to communicate with a range of different people both internal and external to Yorkshire Water.
  • Clearly demonstrates the Yorkshire Water company values and behaviours.

 

You will also benefit from having:

 

  • Previous experience in a commercially orientated and / or regulated environment.
  • Previous experience gained within the water or wastewater sectors or within the broader utilities, process or manufacturing industry sectors.
  • Experience in Continuous Improvement
  • Experience in Integrated management systems
