Location: Buttershaw, Bradford / Hybrid Working (1-2 days a week in the office)
Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Secretary to join the Programme Delivery team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

As a Technical Secretary, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of a major capital investment programme. This is more than just an administrative role — you’ll be the backbone of the team, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Where you fit in:
As our Technical Secretary you will:
• Ensure meeting bookings are managed, and all attendees come prepared with the relevant materials.
• Ensure that meeting agendas are well managed and up to date.
• Collate and distribute any required papers or information in a timely manner.
• Produce detailed, accurate meeting minutes and actions and ensure their timely distribution.
• Maintain meeting documentation such as risk and issue logs.
• Proactively chase meeting actions, keeping a detailed record of when they are achieved and what remains outstanding.
• Professionally manage the reporting of unsatisfactory or incomplete responses to agreed actions.
• Develop and maintain a MS SharePoint site to ensure all relevant documentation and information is stored, version controlled and easily accessed when needed.
• Provide support to the wider Programme Delivery leadership team as and when required.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
• Experience of working in a technical secretarial role or similar
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel Powerpoint)
• Familiarity with document management systems (Sharepoint)
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to prioritise tasks and proven time and workload management
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships
• A strong ability to influence stakeholders to ensure processes are followed
