Location: Midway, Halifax Road, Bradford, BD6 2SZ / Hybrid Working – (Three days office a week – Bradford) an expectation to attend sites when required.

 

Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

Our Technical Manager Flow and Spill will work between Operational, Technical, Capital Delivery and Regulatory departments ensuring reporting needs meet the requirements of all parties, whilst delivering 100% compliance and operational performance targets.

 

Your role and your team of Technical Officers activities will drive continued improvements and higher performance standards against all performance areas related to Flow and spill Compliance within wastewater.

As our Technical Manager Flow and Spill you will:

 

Lead a team of Flow & Technical Officers, setting clear expectations and performance targets related to wastewater performance and regulatory compliance. It involves coordinating between various departments to ensure solutions meet all requirements and achieve 100% compliance. Efficiently manage resources, including personnel and budgets

 

It is crucial as our Technical Manager for you to ensure that all wastewater processes related to spill and flow comply with legislation and regulatory obligations. This includes creating, tracking, and reporting action plans to meet both external regulations and internal performance targets

 

You will be responsible for developing standard processes for investigating, identifying, and resolving process and asset shortfalls. This ensures that company procedures are followed and continuously improved

 

You will be producing and communicating performance metrics through reports and presentations. This helps in maintaining transparency and accountability within the organisation regarding flow and spill compliance

 

As the Technical Manager you will be developing risk registers to support asset planning, identifying and monitoring strategic performance requirements, and prioritising risks and issues for investment or operational management. This ensures proactive management of potential issues and continuous improvement in performance standards

  • Experience working in Wastewater with process understanding
  • Operating within a regulated industry or framework
  • Environment regulatory understanding
  • Experience with implementing Management Systems
  • Processes and procedure creation and improvement
