Location: Bradford, Buttershaw, BD6 2SZ/ Hybrid (Average 2 office days a week)

 

Work type: Permanent, Hybrid. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

Where you fit in:

 

As our Software Asset manager specialist, you will report into the IT Asset Manager participating in all IT software projects with support from the ITAM Analysts where required and managing the end-to–end software asset lifecycle optimising the software portfolio/baseline where possible. 

 

What you'll need to do to succeed in this role

 

  • Participating/managing onboarding of new software not part of a project 
  • Stakeholder management inc. Service/Business Owners, Service Manager, Application Support, Technical Support amongst others 
  • Progressing Software Asset related queries (standard service requests) and supporting with application incidents, problems and changes. (where applicable) 
  • Managing from a Software Asset Management perspective license and support renewals, working alongside the SRM and Commercial (Procurement) teams with the stakeholders within a reasonable time frame 
  • Conducting internal Software Asset Audits/Effective Licence Positions 
  • Categorise and Prioritise and assign ownership management responsibility to all Software Assets 

 

It's a plus if you have:

 

  • At least 5 years’ experience in Software Asset Management 
  • Experience of enterprise solutions such as: Snow Software/Flexera, Service Now. 
  • Experience of managing SaaS software
