Location: Buttershaw / Hybrid Working (1-2 days office a week - Bradford)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Smart Metering Customer Side Leakage (CSL) Agent to join the Water Service Delivery team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

The role involves supporting the team's leakage reduction targets by contacting customers identified through smart meter data as having continuous flow issues. This includes collaborating with the Operational Contact Centre and Loop to ensure a seamless customer journey, tracking and monitoring affected meters until the issue is resolved, and raising Section 75s if necessary. Building effective working relationships with both internal and external colleagues is crucial.
Additionally, the role requires administering the smart metering mailbox to support customers and acting as the main point of contact for any smart metering queries from customers, colleagues, or suppliers. Generic accountabilities include building capability through self-development, complying with corporate governance requirements, and developing commercial awareness through on-the-job experience and interaction with other functions.
Where you fit in:
As our Smart Metering Customer Side Leakage (CSL) Agent you will
- Support the team's leakage reduction target by contacting customers who have been identified as having a continuous flow through smart meter data
- Work with the Operational Contact Centre and Loop to ensure a seamless customer journey
- Track and monitor the meters that have been identified as having continuous flow through to fix.
- Raising Section 75's if necessary
- Build effective working relationships with a range of colleagues both internal and external
- Administer the smart metering mailbox providing support to customers
- Be the main point of contact for any smart metering queries from customers, colleagues or suppliers
What skills & qualifications you will need:
- Customer service experience
- Experience of using your own initiative to problem resolve
- Able to build effective working relations
- Good attention to detail
- Confident in using own initiative and have an investigatory nature
- Well organised and good time management skills
You will also benefit from having:
- Understanding of Leakage
- Working knowledge of Yorbil, ICE, SAP
- Experience of working in a regulated environment
- Experience of smart metering or metering
- Negotiation skills
