Location: Buttershaw / Hybrid Working (1 - 2 office a week - Bradford or Leeds)
Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

The Partnerships Portfolio Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the management and development of our industry-leading partnerships, Living with Water and Connected by Water, while also spearheading the development of new and emerging strategic partnerships. This role is critical in transferring the learnings from existing partnerships to build new collaborations, creating and maintaining a comprehensive partnerships strategy, and establishing a centre of excellence.
Where you fit in:
As our Partnership Portfolio Manager you will
- Leadership and Team Management: Oversee and manage a team of Partnership Officers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to ensure high performance and motivation.
- Development and implementation of a collaborative adaptive planning framework to identify critical opportunities for partnership working, now and into the future.
- Take the lead on pilot partnership projects, embedding learning from existing partnerships and creating new process and policy to enable collaborative working with new stakeholders.
- Maintain strategic oversight of Yorkshire's strategic partnerships, creating an environment of sharing best practice and continuous improvement.
- The development and implementation of quantitative and qualitative tracking of the benefits of partnership working.
- Play a key advisory role in identifying partnership needs and opportunities.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
- Degree in a relevant discipline or relevant experience
- People leader experience
- Strategy development and implementation
- Proven track record of leading collaborative working initiatives
- A good knowledge of local, regional, and national strategies, policies, and legislation relevant to the area of work, including emerging and changing issues is essential
- Experience of integrated water management
- Experience of working in/with partners operating in a regulatory environment
- Knowledge of government funding processes
- Experience of qualitative and quantitative tracking and evaluation
