Location: This role will initially be based in Bradford but we’re moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in summer 2026, so you’ll be based there in the future - Hybrid Working (1-2 days in the office a week – Bradford/Leeds
Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

Where you fit in:
As our SAP Business Analyst, you will:
- Lead Business Analysis activities across multiple change initiatives, delivering high-quality requirements specifications for bespoke software, third-party applications, and cloud-based solutions.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements, including user interface (UI) designs, data models, business process changes, and system interface specifications.
- Apply best practice Requirements Engineering techniques, ensuring effective elicitation, analysis, validation, documentation, and traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Gather and define business requirements using a range of elicitation methods, including stakeholder interviews, workshops, surveys, and collaborative sessions.
- Produce and maintain AS-IS and TO-BE business process models, conducting gap analysis to identify improvements and support transition planning.
- Build and manage strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring effective communication and engagement throughout project delivery.
- Facilitate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions are thoroughly tested and meet agreed business requirements.
- Work closely with project teams to deliver effective, fit-for-purpose solutions that align with business objectives and drive positive change.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and ways of working.
- Ensure delivered solutions provide measurable business value and meet both operational and strategic requirements.
What skills & qualifications you will need:

- Previous experience using Azure DevOps and/or JIRA, with confidence working in agile delivery environments.
- Experience using Microsoft Visio to bring processes and ideas to life through clear visual documentation.
- Experience within the water, wastewater or wider utilities sector would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA would be beneficial.
- A recognised Business Analysis qualification (such as BCS Business Analysis or Lean Six Sigma) would be welcomed.
- Experience using Atlassian Confluence would be an advantage.
