Location: We have an opportunity for a Wastewater Regulatory Instrumentation Compliance Manager to join the Environmental compliance team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you? The role will be based at our Buttershaw site, Bradford, and will be a flexible hybrid working.

 

Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday within a standard working window.

The Regulatory Compliance team are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators. 

 

Where you fit in:

 

Wastewater’s obligations to have remote regulatory instruments measuring environmental compliance performance across our asset base will continue to increase significantly over the next 5 years.

 

As our Regulatory Instrumentation Compliance Manager, you will:

 

  • Be responsible for managing regulatory instrumentation compliance across wastewater, including MCERTs certification and the associated management system
  • Coordinate external providers for calibration and certification of all MCERTs equipment, managing the ongoing instrumentation calibration schedule and working with operations and other colleagues to facilitate the delivery of the process
  • Act as business sponsor for the annual MCERTs external IMS audit
  • Hold accountability for the EDM process, driving availability targets and remediation priorities
  • Be the wastewater SME business sponsor for refining the process for delivery of new instrument installation routes. Set out site instrument asset standards and definitions of requirements
  • Ensure instrumentation devices are recorded and identified in corporate systems
