Location: This role will initially be based in Bradford but we’re moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in spring 2026, so you’ll be based there in the future - Hybrid Working
Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday between the working window of 8:00am-6:00pm. We embrace a flexible working model, where our hybrid setup typically requires an average of 1-2 days in the office per week. This could be slightly more when collaborative efforts, training or meeting deadlines demand it. For those who prefer to work on-site, our office is open Monday-Friday during working hours.

The role will sit within the Environment team in the Corporate affairs and Partnerships. The team is responsible for protecting and improving the environment and contributing to our 10-year strategy - A thriving Yorkshire, right for customers, right for the environment’.
Where you fit in:
As Project Coordinator you will deliver overall project administration for the setup, delivery and closure of projects within the Environmental Assessment Team’s programme. The programme is diverse, ranging from traditional delivery schemes involving capital delivery partners, to partnership schemes with external organisations delivering multiple interventions and benefits across a catchment. The teams’ purpose is focussed on environmental improvement, and the role holder will ideally have an interest and willingness to develop in this area.
Key to the role will be providing administrative support to Project Managers, you will be assigned projects to support and will assist Project Managers to maintain an ongoing work plan, ensuring that all work carried out is in alignment with the goals and objectives of the team and department.
- Provide administrative support to the team, including organising meetings, supporting stakeholder events and generally facilitating the efficient operation of the team. Including setting up agendas, taking minutes and creating, updating and maintaining action, risk and issues logs
- Analyse and interpret data through analysing project reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Support Project Managers in updating project documents, drafting contracts, administering the project management financial system and producing governance approval information
- Ensure contract documentation is signed, added to and updated on the purchasing system, raise Purchase Orders and assist contract partners with invoice submissions
- Collate project completion data capture and carbon data from the Contract Partners and disseminate this information to the relevant parties in a timely manner
- Highlight to Project Managers, project discrepancies in the reports provided by the Asset Programme Management & Finance Business Partnering (Assets) team
What skills & qualifications you will need:
- Strong organisational skills
- Analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills including report writing and presentation skills
- Previous experience of collaborative/partnership working and financial management
- It would be advantageous if you have had previous project administration experience
- Able to develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships
- Excellent IT skills, as you will be using a range if company IT systems
