Location: Buttershaw, Bradford - hybrid working 1 day in the office per week

 

Work type: Permanent, 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Reporting Analyst to join the new Programme Reporting team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

You will require a good understanding of working in a PMO environment and be able to drive required governance, controls and assurance to support the delivery of projects to time, cost and quality targets and support the success of the Programme.
Working within our Programme Management Office (PMO) you will contribute to the successful and timely delivery of projects through the provision of informative and targeted management information and analysis.  

 

Where you fit in: 

 

As a Programme Reporting Analyst you will; 

 

  • Collect and interpret Programme performance information.
  • Analyse and evaluate performance of the Capital Programme across a range of metrics: cost, time, quality (What is the data telling us?).
  • Develop and seek to continuously improve existing reporting, ensuring that all stakeholder requirements are met.
  • Development and production of Programme Key performance indicators (KPIs) that reflect programme success.
  • Take responsibility for data validation and identification of any areas requiring action or improvement.
  • Manage the escalation of non-compliance with company governance, data management and approvals processes.
  • Provide targeted analytical support as needed to address emerging questions and challenges.

 

This role is about transforming data into meaningful information that enables an overview of performance vs our key deliverables and drives continuous improvement.

 

What skills & qualifications you will need:

 

  • A degree-level education or equivalent qualification/experience is essential.
  • A high proficiency in Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Power BI and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience of compiling, assessing and communicating complex data.
  • An ability to present complex information in a clear and straightforward manner to colleagues at all levels, along with strong presentation skills, especially when addressing small groups.
  • Able to develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to challenge and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in supporting and embedding change, with an ability to influence and drive the desired culture and behaviours.
  • An aptitude and willingness to learn new skills and competencies, coupled with a proactive approach to asking questions.

 

You will also benefit from having:

 

  • Experience with schedule software such as P6 or MS Project.
  • Familiarity with working in a regulated environment.
  • A background in programme or project management within a structured framework.  

 

We embrace a flexible working model, where our hybrid setup typically requires an average of one day in the office per week. This could be slightly more when collaborative efforts, training or meeting deadlines demand it. For those who prefer to work on-site, our office is open Monday-Friday during working hours.
