Salary and Benefits: From £19,955 depending on experience + attractive company pension + a guaranteed one-off pro-rata’d bonus for remaining financial year

 

Location: Bradford (BD6 2SZ) with home working until April 2021.
 

 

What Will The Role Involve?
 

As one of our Purchasing Coordinators, you will be responsible for supporting the business in purchasing activity and driving value through negotiation to deliver savings.
 

You will work as part of the Purchasing Support Desk and be a subject matter expert in all relevant business processes and policies to ensure the delivery of cost effective, efficient and compliant purchasing activity.
 

In this role, you will be expected to support and challenge internal customers to define procurement needs in line with current and future business demands, whilst offering support and guidance to colleagues on all relevant Purchasing processes. You will manage the onboarding and training of suppliers on to the company designated system and be involved in supplier negotiation to drive best value on purchases up to £100k.
 

You will support the business with travel, accommodation and events bookings whilst promoting the Purchasing Support Desk and proactively seeking opportunities to add value across the business.

                            

 

What Key Skills & Experience Are We Looking For?
 

Essential
 

  • Confident in performing supplier price negotiations
  • Strong demonstrable skills with Microsoft Office Suite / Office 365.
  • Able to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Tenacity to independently solve problems.
  • SAP4 Hana / Ariba experience.
  • Commercially focused with a demonstratable track record.

 

 

Desirable
 

  • CIPS part qualified
  • Experience of using SAP Ariba Network
