Where I’d work: This role will initially be based in Bradford but we’re moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in September 2026, so you’ll be based there in the future, with a hybrid working arrangement in place, a mix of office and home working.

 

 

Work type: This is a fixed term role for 12 x months. You will be working full time. You will be expected to work 37 hours per week within a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday. There may be times due to the importance of the work you are doing where out of hours work is necessary to support the delivery of new systems.

Where you fit in:

 


You will help define and deliver our Learning Management System (LMS). You will work closely with the People Function and Tech team to ensure smooth delivery of the system. Within this role, you will be collaborating with a number of teams across the organisation, particularly with the Tech team, Vendors, Support Team and people team and within our learning and development function. Therefore, you will be a strong team player, able to communicate effectively to ensure all relevant parties are clear on the direction of travel. It will be key for you to manage expectations and influence decision-making.

 


You will be translating business requirements into LMS solutions, this will involve extensive problem-solving and trouble-shooting. You will need a technical mind set & strong problem-solving skills, as you will be diagnosing issues with the LMS, eg – enrolment errors, reporting gaps. You will be methodical in your approach and adopt a root-cause analysis approach.

 

 

What skills & qualifications you will need:

 


· Previous experience of collaborating on system related projects, a strong team player

· Excellent IT skills with a range of experience on HR systems

· Working in a HR function is an advantage

· Able to build up relationships and influence effectively with a wide range of people

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication skills – the ability to explain technical jargon into plain language to a non-technical audience

· Strong organisational skills

· A willingness to learn new technical skills (system)

· The ability to challenge in the right way and escalate when needed

· Able to work at pace in a fast moving environment
