Location: Buttershaw / Hybrid Working (1-2 days office a week - Bradford)
Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

Leakage Operations are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.
Reporting to the Leakage Assurance Manager, the role holder will work as a part of a wider Configuration Analyst team within the Leakage Assurance Team. The Configuration Analyst will maintain Netbase leakage software system, resolve source data issues, and provide technical system support. The role holder delivers projects improving elements of the leakage calculation and regulatory leakage reporting requirements through utilisation and analysis of data. They create and embed management information dashboards and provide performance insight to a wide range of stake holders.
Where you fit in:
As our Leakage Reporting & Configuration Analyst you will
- Maintain and configure assets on the water network within Netbase, ensuring data accuracy and resolving configuration queries.
- Provide training and support to end users across various Netbase applications, including Event Management, Sumdat, Alarms, LATIS, and more.
- Ensure efficient operation and timely data updates to Netbase, collaborating with colleagues to resolve data processing issues.
- Work with teams in Leakage, Water Service Delivery, TEC, and Smart to enhance reporting and process development for leakage, data, and pressure performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders for project upgrades, industry collaborations, and consultancy projects.
- Validate and interpret performance data, create management information dashboards, and proactively maintain leakage data to ensure accuracy.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
- In-depth understanding of the water distribution network and advanced proficiency in Netbase.
- Proven ability to interpret and analyse large volumes of data, including understanding leakage calculations.
- Experience with Yorkshire Water's corporate systems such as SAP, AI2, Odyssey, SRM, YorBill, and Lotus Notes.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and customers, demonstrating negotiation and influencing skills.
- Effective time management, ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office, capable of creating dashboards and analytical reports in Power BI, with knowledge of SQL and basic coding systems.
You will also benefit from having:
- Experience of delivering against challenging business targets.
- Previous experience in a commercially orientated and / or regulated environment.
- Able to understand where your role fits within a Business Plan and develop ways to deliver the outputs required
- Experience of supporting and embedding change, able to influence and drive the right culture and behaviours
