Where you fit in:
As our Leakage Assurance Manager you will
- Reporting to the Manager of Data, Analytics and Assurance, the primary purpose of this role is to lead the strategy for total leakage reporting, improving elements of the leakage calculation to support leakage reporting and effective targeting of leakage, whilst ensuring regulatory compliance related to Leakage, PCC and Business Demand.
- The role is accountable for the delivery of the Water Balance, and annual APR submission, and coordination of regulatory reporting requirements, regulatory stakeholder liaison, including response to industry consultations.
- The role holder will lead a small team of professional subject matter experts and technical analysts in the field of reporting leakage.
- Driving the future development of reporting initiatives and the inclusion of emerging data sets into reporting methodologies, the role is a key enabler to the delivery of the challenging Demand Performance Commitments, ensuring all reporting activities and improvements are coordinated and aligned.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
- Ongoing optimisation of leakage reporting across all component parts of the total leakage calculation.
- Full data governance of leakage data reporting, ensuring all data is accurate and compliant and valued by those who use it.
- Delivery of APR and regulatory reporting requirements, regulatory stakeholder liaison, including response to industry consultations.
- Develop strong and effective relationships with industry peers and internal stakeholders to ensure YW is at the forefront of best practice and innovation, and raise the profile of YW in this area.
- Ensure Yorkshire Water’s ongoing compliance to regulatory reporting and impact assess methodology changes across the interconnected demand performance commitments.
- Tracking benefits of leakage related activities and initiatives i.e smart metering, ALC, pressure management, mains renewal, ensure the plan is iterated to deliver maximize benefits.
- Effectively lead a team of technical analysts enabling growth and transition of the existing team
