Location: Bradford + home (hybrid working), with travel to other sites around Yorkshire as required.

 

Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

 

We have two exciting opportunities to join Yorkshire Water’s Organisational Effectiveness team as Leadership & Talent Development Advisor. You will be designing and facilitating impactful learning and coaching leaders at all levels of the organisation in line with leadership and talent strategies.  Could this be you?

Working within the People directorate, you’ll be part of a creative, and flexible team where everyone plays their equal part in enabling our people to be at their best. 

 

You’ll do this through the design, development, and delivery of a range of leadership, behavioural and talent development solutions; facilitating and inspiring learning, shifting behaviour, and nurturing talents.

 

Working with leaders and their teams, you will:

  • Empower Colleague growth: shaping and delivering learning and/or talent development pathways, balancing the needs of the organisation whilst helping colleagues grow.
  • Leverage your expertise: use your Learning, Coaching and Mentoring skills to deliver a range solutions with measurable impact on talent development, leadership capability and team environment.
  • Equip leaders: to coach and develop their own teams, creating a sustainable mechanism for growth and change.
  • Act as a change agent: accelerating both leader and team progress to take on strategic priorities, embrace new ways of working to drive engagement and performance.
  • Deliver a blended model of learning: including facilitated learning, self-directed learning content, group and 121 coaching.
  • Sharpen your skillset: use insight on best practice and industry trends, to improve how we apply and evaluate talent and learning initiatives, including use of skill mapping, and demonstrating clear connections to YW Strategy and our behaviours.

 

Skills, experience, and qualifications you will need:

  • Proven experience in talent development, leadership; coaching and learning and development.
  • Experience of working with people at all levels (individual contributor through to c-suite), with proven ability to adapt your style accordingly.
  • Experience of working within a blended learning framework and cohort-based learning programmes.
  • Application of contemporary learning approaches; experiential, digital and immersive
  • Extensive experience of integrating behavioural tools (psychometrics, 360 feedback, team dynamics etc.) within learning and coaching.
  • Confidence using technology and communication channels (e.g., MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Teams, Whiteboard)
  • Strong and engaging communication skills to collaborate with, inspire, and challenge learners to grow their capability.
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD) and keeping pace with latest thinking.
  • To work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Have excellent stakeholder engagement and partnering skills both across the organisation and with external providers.
  • Hold a full valid UK driving licence (No more than six points)

 

 

You will also benefit from having:

  • CIPD or Coaching level 5 and above or willing to work towards.
  • Experience of psychometrics and/or qualified in some assessment tools.
  • ILM or CMI Leadership & Management Qualification.
  • Worked with digital curated learning platforms and Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience of coaching within a change environment.
