Location: West Yorkshire / Hybrid Working (1-2 days in the office a week – Bradford then Summer 2026 relocating to Leeds)
Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

As part of our team, you’ll play a key part in ensuring projects run smoothly by managing land entry processes, liaising with project managers and partners, surveyors and the legal team whilst keeping everything on track. Where you fit in:
As our Land Entry Officer, you will:
- Conduct land referencing searches using HM Land Registry and cross-check data with internal systems such as Yorbill, Companies House, and ICE.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and partners to ensure accurate information is provided, enabling notices to be served on time and preventing delays to project start dates.
- Support the production of drawings for statutory notices using CAD software when required.
- Prepare and issue land entry notices using the LENS database system.
- Liaise with internal teams including Legal, Land & Property, and the mailing room to resolve technical land queries.
- Act as the main point of contact for partners and project teams regarding notices, ensuring queries are handled promptly and professionally.
- Record all notices served in the ICE customer management system and assist with monthly reporting.
- Ability to work to company agreed SLA’s.
- Ability to prioritise workload depending on demand.
- Use mapping systems to produce appropriate plans
What skills & qualifications you will need:
- Understand and follow the Land Entry process
- Strong Microsoft excel and word skills
- Previous experience of using multiple systems and software to gather information and complete applications effectively
- Knowledge of the Water Industry Act 1991 and statutory land entry notices, with an understanding of capital projects
- Be a collaborative team player who delivers outstanding customer experiences
- Show energy, enthusiasm, and a practical, common-sense approach to problem-solving
- Have the confidence to ask questions, challenge processes, and suggest improvements
- Knowledge of GIS/mapping systems
- Attention to detail and carrying out quality checks to a set standard
- Ability to build working relationships with internal and external personnel
