Location: Buttershaw / Hybrid Working (1-2 days office a week – Bradford)

 

Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Drinking Water Contacts Administrator to join the Water Service Delivery team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

This role is responsible for validating all customer contacts received in relation to the Drinking Water Quality performance commitment, ensuring accurate and reliable reporting. It also involves documenting and sharing any learning opportunities identified through the validation process to support continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

As our Drinking Water Contacts Administrator you will

 

  • Review and validate all incoming customer contacts related to water quality, ensuring only appropriate contacts are included in regulatory Water Quality measures.
  • Identify trends and issues in customer contact data, escalating potential concerns around data quality or process gaps to relevant teams.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to support both internal and external reporting requirements, including regulatory submissions.
  • Act as a key point of contact for queries regarding Water Quality contact validation processes, offering guidance and support where needed.
  • Take personal responsibility for health and safety, risk management, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate company values and behaviours consistently in all aspects of work and interactions.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to support collaborative working.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of Water Quality contact validation processes.

 

What skills & qualifications you will need:

 

  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to interpret and follow validation criteria and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) and relevant company systems.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with internal teams.
