Location: This role will initially be based in Bradford but we’re moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in summer 2026, so you’ll be based there in the future - Hybrid Working (3 days office a week – Bradford/Leeds)
Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

To provide a robust training framework directly for Developer Services that will ensure that all colleagues delivering our customer service has the right technical knowledge and skills to deliver a market leading customer experience.
The role will be multi-disciplined in that it will design and delivery the required training modules inline with good learning practices – alongside embedding a learning framework.
The role will cover all aspects of Developer Services such as back office and field-based colleagues and will deliver training for both new inductees and existing colleagues.

As our Developer Services Trainer you will
- Designed, developed and delivered high-quality training frameworks and learning materials aligned to organisational standards and departmental objectives.
- Delivered engaging process, policy and systems training to a wide range of delegates, ensuring knowledge transfer and operational compliance.
- Owned and maintained departmental learning frameworks, identifying training needs and implementing solutions to support colleague development.
- Supported and embedded departmental change initiatives by upskilling colleagues and promoting positive behaviours and cultural adoption.
- Assisted in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to meet evolving business and operational requirements.
- Maintained accurate, auditable and compliant delegate assessment and achievement records in line with awarding body requirements.
- Ensured all training and work activities were conducted in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies and codes of practice.
- Applied experience in workplace training, assessment and people development, supported by Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or equivalent) and the flexibility to travel across multiple operational sites.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
- Holds or is working towards an ILM or CMI Leadership & Management qualification, demonstrating a commitment to effective leadership and people development.
- Experienced in the use of psychometric assessment tools, with qualifications or practical application of tools such as MBTI, EQ or PRINT to support individual and team development.
- Possesses NRSWA qualification and a strong understanding of safe working practices within utility and construction environments.
- Holds an IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification, promoting compliance and a positive safety culture across all activities.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of new construction activities and Developer Services processes, enabling effective support to customers and stakeholders.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and is able to travel across the Yorkshire Water network to support operational and training requirements.
