Location: These roles will initially be based in Bradford but we’re moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in Summer 2026, so you’ll be based there in the future, with a hybrid working arrangement in place, a mix of office and home working. 

 

Work type:  These are permanent opportunities. You will be working full time, 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday within a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm.

Where you fit in:

 

 

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a number of Customer Compliance Agent’s to join the Customer Management Centre at Yorkshire Water. You will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure all customer Guaranteed Standard Scheme (GSS) payments are processed accurately, consistently, and in line with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and customer outcome standards. 

 

You’ll be working as part of the complaints and compliance area where you will be responsible for supporting effective day to day compliance administration to support a culture of 100% compliant, 100% of the time.

 

You will work in accordance with our customer promise and company strategy, ensuring we do what’s right for customers and right for the environment.

 

You will - 

 

•    Maintain full and accurate audit trails for all payments, decisions, and escalations.
•    Be able to relay key information back to stakeholders and understand themes and key data points to ensure our process are compliant and customer first. 
•    Provide Administrative support to the wider department
•    Assist with preparation of information and documentation for internal reviews, audits, and quality assurance activities.
•    Manage shared inboxes and task queues, ensuring queries are logged, allocated, and progressed within agreed timescales.

•    Strong IT skills as you will be using a range of company IT systems in the role 
•    Excellent administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
•    Ability to follow defined processes, controls and checklists consistently
•    Passionate about delivering excellent Customer Experiences
•    Able to work on own initiative and use problem solving skills.
•    Demonstrates a can-do attitude and a solution focused approach.
•    Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
•    Comfortable working in a performance driven environment - 1:1 coaching, and feedback will be provided to support ability to improve own performance
•    Adaptable to change and being flexible to different options/ways of working
•    Self-driven and willing to learn and develop in the role
