Location: West Yorkshire / Hybrid Working (1 - 2 days in the office a week – Bradford – Relocating to Leeds Summer 2026)

 


Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

As our Corporate Risk Lead you will:

 

  • Maintain and enhance enterprise risk management frameworks, policies, and standards, ensuring alignment with regulatory and internal requirements. 
  • Oversee the quality and timely upkeep of the corporate risk register, supporting and influencing risk owners and champions across the organisation. 
  • Produce risk reports, dashboards, and insights for leadership and governance groups. 
  • Monitor and report on risk appetite alignment and Key Risk Indicator (KRI) trends. 
  • Lead effective use of GRC systems, promoting simplification and automation of risk processes. 
  • Facilitate risk identification through workshops, interviews, surveys, and tools to ensure accurate assessment of corporate risks. 
  • Apply and support technical risk methodologies to ensure robust and consistent risk assessments and mitigation plans. 
  • Ensure timely identification and escalation of emerging risks. 
  • Support development of risk treatment strategies aligned with risk appetite and track mitigation actions to ensure accountability. 
  • Lead incident-related root cause analysis and lessons-learned exercises, producing meaningful recommendations. 
  • Work collaboratively with audit, risk, compliance, and other teams (e.g., Technology GRC, Commercial Risk) to support enterprise-wide risk alignment. 
  • Represent the organisation in risk committees, forums, and cross functional groups. 
  • Support the wider risk community with training, insight, and feedback. 
  • Share expertise and contribute to the development of colleagues within the audit, risk, and compliance team. 

 


What skills & qualifications you will need:

 

  • A solid understanding of risk management frameworks, standards, and tools, with experience in effective risk identification, assessment, and evaluation. 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, able to balance detail with the bigger picture and prioritise effectively. 
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, adapting style for different audiences. 
  • Confident using data and reporting tools to transform information into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing demands and consistently deliver high quality work. 
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships internally and externally and influence stakeholders including at leadership level.
