Where I’d work: Bradford/ Hybrid Working (typically you will be in the office 1 x day per week in Bradford)
Work type: Temporary for 12 x months, working full time 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday between the working window of 8:00am-6:00pm

Where you fit in:
As Compliance & Assurance Analyst you will create and embed Compliance management information, including BI Dashboards and reporting packs to provide insights and support to all areas of the business including the Executive and Board to influence understanding on business wide Legal, Statutory and Regulatory Compliance obligations.
You will review and analyse process controls and assurance activity to identify compliance risk and opportunities and recommend process improvements.
You will act as key relationship manager for Compliance Leads, to influence and drive the Compliance Framework across all areas of the business.
You will create and oversee the governance in relation to integrated action monitoring for the organisation and Regulators to reduce the risks to non-compliance, producing management information for the Executive and Senior Leaders.
As our Compliance & Assurance Analyst you will -
• Build business-wide compliance reports - Drawing in external and internal best practice compliance measures, gathering stakeholder expectations and making the reports engaging and easy to understand
• Analyse the outputs of the management reporting to provide compliance assurance and identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Own the maintenance of the Compliance Database and manage the technical governance to ensure a resilient system is in place to monitor compliance.
• Manage the completeness and improvement of the Compliance database, overseeing that it is kept up to date by compliance leads across the business, escalating persistent gaps or non-responders to the Compliance Manager. Work with the Tech team to ensure the database is capable of building the hierarchy of compliance reports and insight on compliance for different stakeholders.
• Support the Head of Risk and Compliance and the Compliance manager in building Compliance updates and reports to the Audit and Risk Committee and the Board.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
• Excellent IT skills: Experience of using Microsoft Power BI, Excel and SharePoint to manage multiple sources of raw data and transpose into impactful management reports.
• Strong Communication skills: articulate and able to liaise and express self clearly to all levels of colleagues including Senior leaders, Directors, and external stakeholders. Also the ability to present Reporting Dashboards in formal reports and management meetings. You will be able to listen, question and summarise to understand and meet stakeholder needs.
• Highly numerate, strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to present data clearly and concisely to deliver and influence key business compliance messages
• You will be focused on continuous learning, you will be willing to bring new tools and techniques to the team and wider business
• Excellent influencing skills: able to hold colleagues, including those at a more senior level, to time and quality and to manage expectations.
• Highly organised and logical, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Time management skills: able to manage and prioritise workload to meet various deadlines.
• Able to use own initiative, work independently or as part as a team to meet deadlines
• Excellent standards of customer service
• Project management skills: Able to manage and deliver agreed projects
• Confidentiality: ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
We embrace a flexible working model, where our hybrid setup typically requires an average of 1 x day in the office per week. This could be slightly more when collaborative efforts, training or meeting deadlines demand it. For those who prefer to work on-site, our office is open Monday-Friday during working hours.
