Location: Bradford, Buttershaw, BD6 2SZ/ Hybrid (Average 2 office days a week)

 

Work type: Permanent, Hybrid. 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

As the Assurance Delivery Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our compliance efforts, pushing the boundaries of what's possible and making a real difference in the organisation. By providing Assurance oversight, you'll help strengthen our compliance position and ensure the organisation's reputation remains intact.

As a leader in this role, you'll be responsible for managing a team of Compliance and Assurance specialists, guiding them to continually challenge and improve our practices.

The skills and experience we're looking for:

 

  • Lead and manage a team of Compliance and Assurance specialists
  • Develop and implement business processes to ensure compliance with existing and new legislation and regulations
  • Manage and oversee an annual second-line assurance delivery plan
  • Provide guidance and advice on compliance and assurance matters
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to drive colleagues to do the right thing for our customers and the environment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships throughout the business
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory obligations
  • Demonstrate relentless drive, energy, and determination to deliver sustainable outperformance
  • Ensure robust financial management and commercial awareness form the foundation of all business decisions
  • Lead the team to deliver high performance using the Performance Excellence toolkit

 

It's a plus if you have:

 

  • Water industry knowledge with a good understanding of utilities and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in asset operations, preferably in the water and wastewater sectors or broader utilities
  • Experience with Integrated Management Systems and/or implementing an Integrated Management System
  • Knowledge and experience in managing and improving environmental matters relevant to the water industry
  • Experience in programme and project management
