Salary & Benefits: Salary range £25,214.00 - £31,518.00 per annum dependant on experience.  Benefits include company pension, 25 days annual leave and performance bonus.


We currently have two exciting opportunities for Community Coordinators to join the Brand team within our Customer Experience function.
 

 

This is a full time, temporary opportunity for 12 x months based in the Sheffield area with links to our Brand Team in our office in Leeds, although there will be some home-working involved too.
 

 

What will the role involve?
 

 

You will play a key role in ensuring customers and colleagues are at the heart of everything we do at Yorkshire Water. As Community Coordinator, you’ll be the face of Yorkshire Water in the community, talking to our customers and communities in person and representing our brand.
 

 

You’ll be fantastic at engaging with customers, understanding their needs, answering their questions and building rapport on a personal, group and organisation level.
 

 

You’ll be out and about across Yorkshire meeting and greeting Yorkshire people, talking to them about our key initiatives, delivering community presentations, running our event stands and creating a buzz around everything we do. 
 

 

You will work with the Community Engagement Team Leader to set up all the community events, manage communications and materials for the events and take responsibility for event health and safety. You’ll provide feedback on all engagement activity providing a rich insight into the community’s interest in our work and how we can help/assist them in the future.
 

 

What skills are we looking for? 

 


The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and previous experience of working as part of an engagement team at events or other face-to -face customer engagement activities. Ideally, you will have previous experience of setting up event sets. 
 

 

A confident communicator you will have previous experience of presenting to groups of people and working with a range of stakeholders to co-ordinate engagement programmes.
 

 

You will be highly organised and have effective time management skills. You will be using a range of IT systems in the role, therefore good IT skills are essential.
 

 

You will be required to travel to customer/community events therefore a full UK driving licence is required for the role.
