System Support Administrator 

 

Salary: £20,300 - £25,300 (depending on experience) + 25 days hols + 8 BH + Pension 

 

Location: Livingstone House, Leeds – Hybrid working  

 

Purpose and responsibilities of the role 

 

We have a fantastic System Support Administrator opportunity to join our Programme Delivery Systems Support team at Yorkshire Water.  

 

Within the role you will be providing system and administration support to different areas of the business enabling them to deliver their goals. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and customer service skills, who is comfortable in communicating improvements made by the team to the wider and external businesses.  

 

It will be your responsibility to deal with all tickets raised by our internal and external customers, ensuring these are dealt with in a timely manner and monitoring the progress. Lead regular review meetings to ensure all SLA’s are being met and maintain existing dashboards to provide management information. You will also be assisting end users with system related queries and provide guidance and training.

Knowledge and Skills Required 

 

Essential 

 

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft / Office 365 suite of applications and the ability to develop the SharePoint system. 

A broad knowledge of hardware and software principles. 

The ability to gather and interpret information. 

Excellent communication and presentation skills. 

The ability to explain technical ideas clearly. 

Good team working skills. 

The ability to work with others. 

The ability to organise and manage their own workload. 

A willingness to keep up to date with developments in technology. 

 

Desirable 

 

A working knowledge of analysis methods including process and data. 

A working knowledge of SAP business software applications. 

A basic knowledge of Microsoft programming languages. 

A working knowledge of PowerBI, linking to source data and creation of dashboards. 

Basic knowledge of NEC
