Salary & Benefits: Salary range £32,153 - £40,191 per annum dependent on experience. Benefits include company pension, 25 days annual leave and performance bonus

 


 This is an exciting permanent opportunity, working full time, 37 hours per week, based in Bradford, although at present home working and expected a hybrid working arrangement in the future. 
 

 

 We currently have an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join our Wholesale Services Team. Since April 2017 non-household customers in England have had the option to change their water and sewerage retailer in the same way as customers can do for gas and electricity. 
 

 

To operate effectively in this competitive market Yorkshire Water’s Wholesale Market Services Team, have an opportunity for a Performance Analyst to join our high performing team.
 

 

What will the role involve?

 


You will be responsible for providing performance reporting, performance insight, and technical expertise.  You will also contribute to Wholesale Market performance improvement.
 

 

Some key responsibilities include the following - 
•    Work with other team subject matter experts to ensure performance data across the team is captured and collated effectively.
•    Maintain and continually improve team performance dashboards.
•    Lead the preparation of end of year non-household regulatory reporting tables and commentary.
•    Lead the preparation of external reports submitted to the Market Operator (MOSL) and other market stakeholders.
•    Provide support where required with ad-hoc requests for data, reports, and analysis.
•    Benchmark performance externally and analyse comparative performance
•    In conjunction with other team subject matter experts complete root cause analysis of performance failure, and make performance recommendations.
•    Support other team subject matter experts with continuous improvement by providing performance insight and reporting support .

 

 

What skills are we looking for?


The successful candidate will be able to analyse, interpret and report complex data including providing detailed commentary and insight. You will be proficient in using a variety of reporting and analytical systems including Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of SQL and experience of programming languages is also desirable.
 

 

You will have had previous experience of creating informative performance dashboards and will be able to adapt requirements based on the intended audience.
 

 

You will be highly organised able to effectively prioritise your own workload and ensure deadlines are met.  You will be able to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders and influence/negotiate effectively.  
 

 

Knowledge of the non-household retail water market, the Wholesale Retail Code and systems such as Central Market Operating System (CMOS) and PowerBI would be desirable.
