Lead Business Analyst

 

Salary: £40,343 to £50,429 dependent on experience + Attractive Pension + 25 days holiday
 
Location: Working from home during Covid & thereafter flexible/hybrid working arrangements including our Bradford offices

 

Purpose of the role:

 

The Lead Business Analyst leads the definition of technology enabled business change through the direction and supervision of other BAs  and across a number of transformational business change programmes and / or internal continuous improvement initiatives which will have a measureable impact on the Organisation.

 

They are also responsible for ensuring that the standards followed for the capture, documentation and management of requirements are current, appropriate and industry best practice.


Interaction with other IT and YW teams is also key to ensure stakeholders are satisfied with changes implemented including delivered IT systems and associated support services.

 

What will the role involve:

 

•    Takes full responsibility for business analysis within a significant segment of an organisation 


•    Plans and leads scoping, requirements definition and priority setting for complex, strategic programmes.


•    Facilitate business change within the organisation, drive business requirements analysis to produce requirements specifications to a level capable of being used to enable implementable change and / or IT solutions.


•    Guides senior management towards accepting change brought about through process and organisational change.


•    Probe and develop a deep understanding of business processes and business operating models 


•    Lead a team of BA’s.
    
•    Liaise with various stakeholders to develop implementation plans, including business process change, organisational change, system and behavioural change


•    Leads the selection of appropriate business analysis methods, tools, techniques; selecting appropriately from plan-driven/predictive approaches or more adaptive (iterative and agile) approaches.


    
What skills are we looking for:

 

•    Initiates influential relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers and partners at senior management level, including industry leaders.


•    Several year’s experience in an IT Business Analysis role(s)  


•    Experience in leading/mentoring a team.


•    Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.


•    Experience within a large corporate/change environment highly desirable.


•    Strong organisation & personal management skills.


•    Excellent problem-solving skills, establishing root cause & underlying patterns. 
     
Desirable:

 

•    Familiarity with ARIS Business Process Management tools


•    Professional qualifications  in Business Analysis (e.g. BA International Diploma, Lean Six Sigma accreditation)
