It is expected that you will be familiar with the requirements of the Waste Framework and Industrial Emissions Directives and associated UK legislation, regulations and permitting requirements. It would also be beneficial to have some knowledge of other legislation relating to the discharge of wastewater treatment effluents as you will also have a supporting role in advising on these matters.

A key part of the role is to represent the company on national groups dealing, primarily, with waste regulation issues.

Being a senior role, it is also expected that you will help to develop, maintain and improve business processes and systems both within the team and the wider business.

The level of the role also means that you will provide coaching and training to others within the team.
