Senior Business Analyst | Assistant Business Architect

 

Salary: to £48,960 + pension + 25 days holiday

 

Location: Leeds/Bradford with flexible/remote working arrangements

 

 

 

Purpose of the role:

 

To support the Enterprise Business Architect with building and maintaining a representation of the current and future states of the enterprise to support the delivery of the organisation’s strategic objectives. 

 

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who is seeking to develop their career further into the world of Business Architecture. Although not essential but if you have gained a relevant BCS qualification or similar in Business Architecture so much the better.

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

•            Assists with the population and maintenance of a suitable Business Architecture repository.

•            Performs analysis/architecture activities  including but not limited to architecture artefact data entry, Meta model updates, architecture repository report generation, architecture repository report design, etc.

•            Contributes to business architecture working sessions as required, including but not limited to session facilitation, output recording, data analysis, model selection and development.

•            Perform relationship analysis between business architecture artefacts, such as, capabilities,  processes, technology and organisational areas.

•            Assist in the building and maintenance of core business architecture blueprints, such as, capability models, value stream maps, organisational maps and information maps.

•            Contribute to the preparation and delivery of business architecture presentations and workshops.

•            Assists in the articulation of operating model designs

 

 

What do we need:

 

Essential:

 

•            Minimum of three years experience in a Business Analysis role, gained on large complex projects.

•            Strong stakeholder management

•            Significant experience of requirements facilitation, workshop management, process mapping

•            As a Business Analyst you will have gained experience of the 'big business picture' and wider holistic view & the impact on other parts of a business.

•            Desirable but not essential to be qualified/experienced in business architecture or intending to get certification in business architecture

 

Desirable:

 

•            CASE tool experience e.g. Enterprise Architect, Lean IX, Archi

•            ARIS Process Designer experience

•            Business qualification

•            An appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.

•            Excellent analytical thinker

•            Ability to recognise functional inter-dependencies and cross-silo redundancies.
